About the project

The customer wanted a solution that could provide cooling or heating based on seasonal needs, as well as hot sanitary water. The solution also needed to be reliable and offer high energy efficiency and low running costs.

More about the project, the solution and the product

The new R-32 Small Inverter Chiller has proved itself to be a valuable solution in a wide range of situations, ranging from big stadiums to relatively small houses.

For this project, Daikin supplied two heating units that easily met the required capacity needs (21 kW) and provided the highest energy efficiency in the market for its product segment.

The R-32 Small Inverter Chiller was installed as part of a system to provide cooling or heating (based on the season) to indoor fan coils, as well as hot sanitary water. Thanks to its modern design and advanced technology that optimises full inverter units, the unit met all the project’s requirements, provided outstanding efficiency, and delivered excellent performance with a low GWP refrigerant such as R-32.

Daikin’s extensive experience in developing R-32 technology ensures the unit’s reliability.

In 2018, Daikin was an early innovator and made history by introducing the first R-32 refrigerant chillers, followed by free-cooling scroll units the same year, and the R-32 Heat Pump in 2020.

Today, Daikin has the highest number of R-32 installations in the world. This is a testimony to the experience, knowledge, quality, and reliability of its R-32 products.
